Wedding Venues in Yorkshire & the Peak District

Favourite Yorkshire & Peak District venues...

Craiglands, Ilkley

An old spa hotel, oozing old world charm and traditional values.

Cutler's Hall, Sheffield

No pretty gardens, but who cares, the reception rooms are straight out of a Jane Austen novel. It sometimes hosts international summit meetings, but is a perfect venue for an inspirational wedding.

Firth Hall, Sheffield

The posh bit of the University! They really know how to put on a smart event. The courtyard is private and spacious.

Mosborough Hall, nr Sheffield

Excellent venue on the southern fringe, lovely atmosphere.

Sitwell Arms, Renishaw

Recently renovated to provide every possible feature for weddings, the gardens and interior are much nicer than the front facade.

Tempest Arms, Kelbrook

Very tasteful barn dining room.  Great pub atmosphere, a nice spot for photography in the nearby village of Kelbrook.

Wentworth Castle Gardens, Barnsley.

Recently licensed for wedddings, its a fascinating place. One of the licensed rooms, St James Hall, used to be the private chapel. The parkland and gardens have spectacular views, and include follies and even a ruined castle.

Whirlowbrook Hall, Sheffield

Has the advantage of Sheffield's loveliest park as a background, including the huge lily pond.

Sheffield Botanical Gardens

Just a bit different - the beautifully refurbished pavillions now have a wedding licence - perfect if you want to get married under a banana tree, but don't like flying.
